Winter hasn’t come yet, but as the leaves fall I start to think about it, and about folk tales, which are most enjoyed during the darkest months of the year. Winter is a time for gathering and reflection, of staying close to home. I may be huddled under a comforter most of the time, but it’s still my favorite season for reading.
